Interview date doesn't mean that issue your visa, Sorry....You were count wrong visa statistic.... go and find out yourself How many visa will be retrogress within next couple years. You didn't understand that USCIS has approved more than 500,000.00 applicantion during 2010 fiscal year. NVC is piled up with approval applicant. If you dont believe go to DOS site and research yourself...and then be optimistic about your priority date.

note: My PD is 3/2008. I might get interview date but according to DOS info Bangladesh F2A visa pendings more than 8000. As numerical limitation 2% of per country limit. So I am looking for visa issue may be November/December. I dont know about 2009/2010 PD's situation. You can do the math...GOOD LUCK!!

There is no point being soo negative about this. It's a huge shame that the PDs went as far ahead as they did but now they've retrogressed and I'm as gutted about this as the next person. But this is a waiting game we're all playing. You ARE going to get a visa, it's just a question of when and I know a queue of people who would kill for that opportunity.

Is it fair? No, but being negative won't help the situation. I'm very optimistic and have confidence in the powers that be and the USCIS - they've done this for a reason. Maybe now, people won't apply, they'll get through the applications and the PD will be a lot closer.... you just don't know - if you look at the other thread in this forum, you'll see A LOT of people who got their paperwork through this year and who aren't even on the board now. I bet they didn't even think they'd have their visa yet! But they did because they believed and that's all you can do!

I am glad of the retrogression, actually -

as

the 'push forward' last year for F2s got me really depressed. for a few months, it was 'as if' an F2 has immediately priority date in same fashion as CR-1 visa applicant with USC spouse...

I'm happy to see the numbers fill up, and the freeze start again.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I have to agree... God is not to blame... We can't blame HIM for things that happens which are not according to our plan... Anyway, just thinking... I was somehow skeptic on the PD progression in 2010 (though I admit I don't have any idea about retrogression yet, then). To me the question then was, how about the annual limit? Are they waiving the limit? Then voila, comes Dec2010 -retrogression. Forecasting has been around for a very, very, very long time... or probably, they've just limited the forecasting to how much IV Fee they will receive... deal with the VISA limit later....

Still, Cheers!!!
