Ousted Homosexual Soldiers Looking To Return To Service

The truth is, for many their level of activity is "dodging the questions if not the subject but lets see how you do.

Q: what exactly does an "openly Gay service member" mean?

We know in most gay relationship one plays the more masculine roll and the other plays the feminine roll. Will the typical lisping effeminate acting person be acceptable for service or will that be considered acting "Too openly"?

Clearly you are very, very familiar with the 'typical' gay couple.

Are you really not ashamed of making this rubbish up and passing it off as fact?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

CLeo, do you actually "know" gay people or just watch Will and grace?

Seriously?

Not all Gay couples are as I described but a good many are and it's a valid question... which you avoided.

Q: what exactly does an "openly Gay service member" mean?

It means everyone in the EO classes will have to endure gay rights lectures with a straight face. There's bound to be a few jokers in the classes.

Sexual harassment got the most responses when I was in the class so this will add a new twist.

Nevermind that no one has ever explained how anyone could be outed under DADT (and don't pursue) and legally be dismissed from the military. It's pretty incredible that the media focused in on this issue and much ignored START for the most part.

At least the U.S. Navy can recycle the "In the Navy" song.

Where can you find pleasure

Search the world for treasure

Learn science technology

Where can you begin to make your dreams all come true

On the land or on the sea

Where can you learn to fly

Play in sports and skin dive

Study oceanography

Sign of for the big band

Or sit in the grandstand

When your team and others meet

In the navy

Yes, you can sail the seven seas

In the navy

Yes, you can put your mind at ease

In the navy

Come on now, people, make a stand

In the navy, in the navy

Can't you see we need a hand

In the navy

Come on, protect the motherland

In the navy

Come on and join your fellow man

In the navy

Come on people, and make a stand

In the navy, in the navy, in the navy (in the navy)

They want you, they want you

They want you as a new recruit

If you like adventure

Don't you wait to enter

The recruiting office fast

Don't you hesitate

There is no need to wait

They're signing up new seamen fast

Maybe you are too young

To join up today

Bout don't you worry 'bout a thing

For I'm sure there will be

Always a good navy

Protecting the land and sea

In the navy

Yes, you can sail the seven seas

In the navy

Yes, you can put your mind at ease

In the navy

Come on now, people, make a stand

In the navy, in the navy

Can't you see we need a hand

In the navy

Come on, protect the motherland

In the navy

Come on and join your fellow man

In the navy

Come on people, and make a stand

In the navy, in the navy, in the navy (in the navy)

They want you, they want you

They want you as a new recruit

Who me?

They want you, they want you

They want you as a new recruit

But, but but I'm afraid of water.

Hey, hey look

Man, I get seasick even watchin' it on TV!

They want you, they want you in the navy

Oh my goodness.

What am I gonna do in a submarine?

They want you, they want you in the navy

No Danno, it is not. Every time you raise these nonsensical questions you expose your ignorance. It is not surprising that Ann C is your champion, you are like two irrational peas in a pod.

There is no question to answer. Your question is bred of a total ignorance, either because you are unwilling, or unable to grasp that being a flamboyant extrovert is not determined by one's sexual orientation.

I never said all gay men act feminine I said in a lot of these folks you find this outwardly trait.

Turn off Will and Grace and

GO to your local paper or Craigslist men for men section and see how the Masculine / feminine .... Top R Bottom thing works.

Tell me Danno, when people meet you, how do they know your sexual orientation?

More to the point, when you meet new people do you always categorize them into gays, lesbians, heterosexuals and bi's?

I'm sorry, do you actually know gay people? On a close and personal levels, as in friendships, not as in you know they exist and have seen and judged them? Because I do, and absolutely nothing about your statement rings true to me about how gays are as people or in their relationships.

Has it ever occurred to you that you come across far more gay people than you are aware of, BECAUSE they don't meet your stereotypical definitions? You say in a lot of gay men you will find obvious feminine traits. How do you know that in 99% of gay men, you won't, and you have no idea because they're not sounding the gay alarm in your head? Here's another question for you: is your homophoia limited to gay men and the perceived threat of them molesting poor, helpless straight men, or do you have an issue with lesbians and bisexuals too?

But really, thanks for informing us all of the men for men section of Craigslist. Seeing as how I myself am NOT a gay man, I had no idea what was listed there nor of the preferred sexual positions. I see you do, and I thank you for being so informative for those of us who don't peruse that area.

As usual you deal in silliness rather than debate or conversation.

Craigslist is one of the most active local reaching websites in the country... that you don't know that is ... well telling.

Generally, when people are "openly gay"..... yes you know they are gay, not sure what you are stumbling on here.

I think you need to re-read. I didn't say I don't know what Craiglist is. I said I am not personally familiar with the men for men section of Craigslist, as in I have not looked at it. (Which you apparently have.)

As for being openly gay - plenty of people are openly gay without broadcasting it and without it being obvious to every person on the street. "Openly gay" is not synonymous with "stereotypical flamer" ... just FYI.
