I hope you aren't serious about the dying part. I'm frustrated as heck with the USCIS and all its idiocy. But, in the end, if it doesn't work out, I'll just move back to Mexico with my wife. If you love your husband so much that it's killing you, I'd suggest just ditching the states and going down south. America's not that much better. It certainly isn't worth being depressed over.

I would if I was the one that didn't have a life here. I have a career and two children I split custody with, as well as family that lay a huge guilt trip on me if I would dump all of that to be with him. Vinko has no ties, so that's why we thought this would work...boy was I wrong...

Christmas was absolutely horrible with not knowing about what USCIS wants, plus my fiance decides that he's not going to contact me on Christmas and stay with his friends...which pissed me off to no end. I told him it was over. I'm never put first, even though I always put him first. I told him it was over and to not contact me, and he ends up calling me to tell me that "he still loves me" and that this should not be the end of it. I refuse to be the one doing all the work with this and our relationship. I told him he's on his own...if he wants me so much, then he can find his own way here to the States and convince me of that...

I'd say it's for the better that you split up. If an RFE - which could be something as simple as an unsigned document, or a field not filled out on a document - sent you into a 'let's split up' tailspin, then it's likely the relationship would not be strong enough to survive all this anyway. Getting him here is only half the battle. Assimilating to life in the US can be very difficult for many arriving immigrants, esp. if English is not their first language. And only the strongest of relationships can survive that.

Best of luck to you.

I suppose I should not be venting on here... this is prime example of advice I don't want. You don't know all the details of my relationship, or how this stresses me, or what I stand to lose if I cannot get him here...please do not play amateur psychologist...tired of this...I just need to shut my mouth!

Plus, the RFE could also mean that I didn't provide enough evidence that I met Vinko within the last two years and I provided A TON!!!

It is not the RFE we are playin "psychologist" about, it is the fact that you are going to MARRY someone and be a WIFE AND HUSBAND !

If you are in such a cracking Relationship, I DONT THINK MARRIAGE is the best option for you !!

You're 100% right. If you're going to put your relationship out there on a message board, you're should be prepared to hear all kinds of replies, including ones that may not be what you want to hear.

TracyTN, and "Yankee Love":

Your replies make me want to think there is a reason not to trust forums like this, you must have way too much time on your hands to be commenting on something you have no idea of, and why people not need air any grieveance.

You must have too much time on your hands posting your personal Business in the first place and then complain about others. Mind your business.

Cut the Chase and just get lost with your non happy ending journey.
