From what I have read, most suggest a full week. Depending on how busy, and when she gets to St Luke's, medicals can take a day and a half to two days alone. Giving St Luke's 2 days to process, and forward the results may be tough. And, if her results are not there, she will still have to wait after her interview. As long as she is scheduled for her interview, she can go to the medical. Just my two cents.....

I am leaning towards 5 days in between. The time of the month I was looking at is well, her "time of the month" and I guess she cannot have her exam done then.

The medical exam can actually be completed without the interview scheduled as long as she has recieved the letter from the Embassy stating she is now approved to schedule the interview. You just need to bring it to St. Lukes.

I would say give it at least a week.

My wife just had her medical done on Tuesday & yesterday. She said that St. Luke was packed yesterday (Wednesday). They gave her the x-ray cd & will forward the results & her passport to the embassy.

Funny thing is she was laughing at me when I took my flu shot & told her that there was a little pain for a day, now she is crying that the arm they gave her the vaccine shot on hurts.

All visa applicants, regardless of age, need to complete a medical examination at the St. Luke’s Medical Center Extension Clinic (SLMCEC) before the visa interview. Applicants are advised to have their medical examinations done at least one week before their interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Manila
