Sorry, I just don't find Dee Snyder that compelling. I usually change the SiriusXM channel when TS comes on. Burn out 80's factor bores me.

BS with RJD, however is always a rocking time in the car!

I didn't know about Ian Gillian but he seems to have done a good job.

I did some research and couldn't stomach Ronnie James Dio.

For me it's Ozzy & Sabbath even though they did well to boot him

when he deserved it. I read his autobiography and he admits

what a f-up he'd been but at least he had the sense to listen to Sharon.

Yeah, Sharon saved Ozzie's life, no doubt about it.

Whether it is Ozzie or RJD as the front man, one thing is for sure. Black Sabbath is the godfather's of the heavy metal genre.

Oh sure, many people immediately give Led Zepplin that credit, but if you look closely, half of LZ's stuff is acoustic!

The reason I used RJD as my example is that he is currently being played on XMSirius' Boneyard channel. When they do play Ozzie BS, it is usually "Fairy's Wear Boots", and hey, I do rock out to that one, too!

This is a Christmas thread. Did Sabbath make any Christmas videos or do any Christmas songs? Keep it twisted. They dedicated this one to the American troops who wouldn't be home for Christmas.

This is a Christmas thread. Did Sabbath make any Christmas videos or do any Christmas songs? Keep it twisted. They dedicated this one to the American troops who wouldn't be home for Christmas.

Spooks, please, don't be so exclusionary. Try to be INCLUSIVE and embrace diversity. Some of us have had an azz full of TS already over the past 25 years.

And Yes, Sabbath did do some Christmas songs. :whistle:
