Expedite and I-130 approved!!

This is such a great Christmas gift!

We had our NOA1 on November 16th and have just found out from a Tier 2 we got the approval last friday after my wife faxed her doctors letters on December 10th!!

I can't believe how quick that was! They said our NOA2 is in the mail.

My Wife and I are so friggin relieved.

Out of curiosity, if you do not mind sharing, what were the grounds for your expedite....I know you said medical but what specifically? Your case might help others looking to expedite

There is actually a new criteria called "Compelling medical situation" that I don't believe is on the USCIS expedite criteria webpage. We also went with "extreme emergent situation."

My wife has a myriad of health problems. I don't wish to divulge too much, but one of them is medical complication from a bone marrow transplant which was treatment for leukemia.

if i were you id call the Nvc now or asap, and find out your case number. the good news is that now the nvc will talk to you whereas the uscis wont! so you have equal right with your wife! lol

depending on how you do it, id get ready to get your expedite request in asap, so that you can pretty much bypass the nvc stage.

i assume youre requesting an expedite all the ay thru? i can see a late January interview coming your way.

oh once you call the nvc and get your case number. call knightsbridge drs - bentnick mansions and book your medical.

get your IV docs ready too mate and have your wife do the aos i864. i got the last three years tax returns but they only were interested in the last year.

oh and its cheaper if you get to go thru the embassy, its 404 dollars, you dont have to pay the seventy something.

that's the plan matey! We're gonna be pushing for an expedite the whole way through. just called the NVC, nada on the NVC number, but shouldn't be long now! When do you plan on flying back to be with the missus?

the noa2 should arrive in around 5 days time give or take. id definitely call the nvc every day til you get your case number. im surprised its not generated yet but maybe tomorrow.

having my passport picked up tomorrow, then its sent to the embassy and returned with the visa inside. all told could take up to two weeks, but im packed and ready to leave the day after it arrives. the courier company london uses isnt very good to be honest either.

Dont FORGET the INVOICE ID NUMBER..you get your Case number from NVC and Invoice Number..so you can pay those bills online once they're ready to be paid..otherwise you'll waste more time trying to get a hold of NVC. as for your NVC expedite..PDF your documents, and then priv msg myself or Richi and we'll tell you who and how to address it for the NVC email so that it goes to the right person..then within a few days or a week..it'll be at London and they'll get a hold of you.
