Hi everybody. I send my I 129F for K1 Visa July 12.I got my NOA 1 July 17.Today is my 158 th day.And today i call USCIS for second time. First time i call December 17.I was very happy then, because they told me in 2 days i must hear from them. But 5 days after, i hear NOTHING, so i decided to call again. A very kind lady was trying to help me. She was really nice. I spend more than 30 minutes talking to her.She start asking many questions, and she said, she is going to give me ,a Referral Number, for my Service request. At the end she told me that i have to call again after 15-30 days, because I AM NOT OUTSITE THE NORMAL PROSSEDING TIME OF 5 MONTHS. I try to explain to her that i am over the 5 months[ 6 days over]. She was saying to me, that the computer do not accept my service request, and she can not give me a referral Number, because i am under 5 months.Call back after 15-30 days, it was the only thing she advice me to do. What i do now? Did anybody got the same respond? Good luck to all of us. Thank you.

Got the same response. Called today and was told that they are still processing July 17, it is taking them 6 months and I am still within the normal processing time... call back in 30 days or 6 months from the time they received my application which was Aug. 22, so call on Feb. 22. :(:blink::crying:

We got our NOA1 on the 6th of August, so it looks like I'm going to wait another week before starting all these calls. Where can I get some more info on the Immigration Assistance Form?

Good luck to all!

Yes, it is normal they ask you to wait until you are 6 months from your NOA1. Most of VJ members waited 6 months to 6 months and a half to get their NOA2. It is not unusual at all unfortunatly. 6 days feel like an eternity, I know (seriously, I know, each day of wait drives me crazy), but there is nothing you can do.

Call back once you are past the 6 months. I wouldn't worry too much until a bunch of VSC VJ members who filled out at the same time get there NOA2 and you don't. Register to get updates of timelines similar to yours, don't even think about starting to freak out before you get all those timelines updates. They didn't open your case yet, because they are still opening the cases of those who applyied before you.

Hang in there, your time will come, I promess! yes.gif

Good luck in your visa journey!

Wait until you are 10 months past and then begin to inquire.
