hello everyone my wife got her interview letter a month from now we are happy do they usually take a month for the interview??

I'm not sure I understand your question. You got the interview letter a month ago? Isn't there an interview date in that letter, or am I missing something.

7/20/2010 Delivery Notification N400 Package

7/28/2010 Check Cashed

7/29/2010 NOA received per mail / Notice date = 7/26/2010

8/09/2010 NOA received per mail / FP / Notice date = 8/05/2010

9/03/2010 Fingerprints

9/27/2010 Yellow letter received per mail / Notice date = 9/23/2010

10/21/2010 Case touched and file send to local office

10/29/2010 NOA2 interview received per mail / FP / Notice date = 10/22/2010

11/23/2010 Citizenship Interview - APPROVED

11/23/2010 Oath Ceremony in Newark, NJ - U.S. CITIZEN

11/24/2010 Received my passport

11/24/2010 Took care of my SSC and Driver's License

I think what he is saying is that they just got the interview letter for the interview which is a month from now...probably Jan 21st.

He wants to know if most people get interview letters with a 1 month waiting period between receiving the letter and the actual interview.

What would be nice to know is the time line...which month did your wife file the N400...this will give the rest of us an idea on how fast or slow your papers are moving...

You are pretty much on schedule....

From timelines of filers in various months, you will see that some of the interviews are almost a month after they get the letter...

Believe me your wife is lucky...atleast you got the letter...

Some folks have been waiting for so long after their finger printing and it gets frustrating....

So relax, enjoy you holidays...Go and have some mojitos!!! yes.gif
