Well, it is called La Cañada, but they have disabled the character map on our computers and I couldn't be bothered to look up the windows shortcut for it.

That sounds even gheyer.

Why is this in the P&R forum? Its neither political nor religious (unless you happen to pray to a rain god)

This is about how liberals are so used to the nanny state that they can't drive in the rain so they want big government to do it for them in the form of HSR.

You gotta read between the lines more. There is nothing apolitical about dissing Californians.

Ha! Come on up here to where we routinely get 250" of snow every winter and I will show you how some of us 'libruls' can drive circles around you! I thought I had figured out the political implication of this topic but didn't realize just how absurd some of the right wing fringe can be!

I like to think that it is just a few people. Otherwise, the state of our country really would be depressing.

So people who live in an area that doesn't normally experience heavy rain are somehow stupid because they're not used to driving in adverse conditions.

I mean it's not like there is any correlation at all between bad weather and road traffic accidents

If you know how to drive, then there isn't.....

Paul, it would seem that on this specific topic, your posts would indicate that it you are the one with no grasp of reality here. This entire thread is insipid. This happens everywhere, people aren't used to the conditions, collisions occur. It really is that simple. Your attempt to suggest that california drivers are are worse is ignorant at best.
