my people,

I am happy to let you know that I have been approved this morning at the Lagos embassy, Nigeria.

I am soo happy I cannot hide my joy. I cant write a review now as I would be writting rubbish as I am overwhelmed but I just have to let you know the goodnews. What I can say is that it was a walk over and I came out in flying colours without being asked to bring out a simply supporting evidence.(although i had about a laptop bag fully of evidence). What I can say for now is that Lagos consulate is not as bad as the reviews potray them to be. I watched 4 people denied by the same CO that interviewed me and honestly if I was the CO i would have denied their application as well. Not knowing basic things about your husband or wife is a cause for alarm I swear down. Would post my review soon guys.....My regards to everybody that read my posts, those that commented and those that offered advice since I started this CR1 journey since March 2010. God bless you all.

PS: I did my snake dance like I said and the CO bursted out into laughter. Although he refused to give me his name when I asked. He said they dont give that out. Couldnt be bothered though since my visa was already approved. Cos of the holidays though I have to wait till 5th of January to pick up my passport.

Thanx everyone

YAY!!!! CONGRATS!!!! I'm so happy for you and your wife!!!!:dance::dance:

Remember, a journey continues on forever....only this phase of the journey is over. It was a difficult part and my wife and I hope the rest of your journey, as ours, will be filled with love and many embraces and late night talks. My wife and I will, thanks to God, be together here in the US for the new year.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Thanks for the detailed review my husband has a 10am appoinment as well. Glad he doesn't have to join the 7am queue.

you are very right LAADYDARE. HE would not need to be infront of the embassy until about 15 mins to the time of the appointed time but it is always safe to be in the environ though.

Goodluck to you guys.....
