NVC Automated message help

Hi Guys,

I called NVC and automated message says that they are waiting for biographic info from the petitioner.

Anybody knows what this message means?

not necessarily but give it a couple of days and check back.

yes it does. When your AVR changes to "biographical information", it means they entered AOS and are expecting the DS-230. When they finally entered your DS-230, if no RFE, the message will be "nvc received the checklist response bla bla bla..." and then after they review everything, you ll have SIF and Case complete!

When they finally entered your DS-230, if no RFE, the message will be "nvc received the checklist response bla bla bla..." and then after they review everything, you ll have SIF and Case complete!

I having same AVR message but I havent send them DS-230, will do that next week.

My AVR message changed on last thursday 19th Dec. Now how would I know they have accepted my AOS package.

I called NVC and lady over the phone said

my conversation with her on 9th Dec:

Binny (myself):My AVR has changed to "NVC is waiting for the biographic form from the petitioner" what does it mean?

operator: NVC has received some kind of mail but she cannot tell me what it is, did your sent something?

Me: Yes I sent I-864 package last week

operator: oh okay!so they are reviewing your I-864 package

Me: Oh so they are reviewing my I-864 package, how long it usually takes for the review?

Operator: 20 days from the date you send us the package.

Me: okay thank you for your help.

I called NVC again yesterday 23DEC just to check if they finished reviewing my I-864 package

They said NVC has received some kind of mail but she cannot tell me what it is and also she said they are reviewing my I-864 package. How do I know they have scanned my AOS Package.

If they are saying they dont know what they have received how she can say they are reviewing I-864 package.

I am worried now are they gonna send me RFE?

1 one thing is there any way to know that my AOS package is cleared (like no rfe)

check if it was entered into the system?

Mine's still stuck on "A package of information and documents was generated on December 20th, 2010...blah blah blah." So I guess they haven't done anything with either of the packets I sent them yet .

Well it supposed to mean that they entered you DS-230 in the system. Call nvc and talk to a live operator to find out!I d say that you ll have SIF next week! Merry christmas!!
