Does anyone know about how long it takes after you return Packet 3, and have your medical until you find out your interview date? My fiance is English...he returned Packet 3 last Tuesday, and has his medical on Thursday, August 31. We're just wondering if he'll receive the date now or if they will wait until after he has finished his medical to process it. Anything you know would be appreciated!

If you get in touch with the embassy they will tell you it could take 8-12 weeks but it doesnt usually take that long...check our timelines on here to give you a rough idea...good luck

And add your info to it. The interview seems to be around 7 weeks from when you mail your P3...you'll most likely get packet 4 & interview date in about 2-3 weeks.I'm guessing!

Our timelines are almost identical, until the medical...

i was at your stage a few weeks ago and worked out the normal time to wait until you were given an interview date was 2 to 4 weeks. I had to wait a little longer (think my IV 15 form got lost) but as soon as it got near the 4 weeks I started e-mailing and calling and ended up sending in the form again. Normally it is a month from when you are told of the interview until the interview date itself. Not long now!!! :-)

I ignore the consulate beurocratic answer that it could take up to 8 weeks.....
