I-864 and 2 joint sponsor

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on here, because most of my questions have been answered in the guides and in others forums. I'm not sure how to answer question 8 on the I-864 form. I'm using my sister and her husband as joint sponsors (so, therefore I have two joint sponsors). Because of this, on my I-864 do I answer NO to question 8? Then if that is the case my sister and her husband will both answer YES?

Also, I was the petitioner of my now-wife for the K-1 petition if that helps... Thanks for any help! (^o^)v

Actually you will have ONE joint sponsor, and the joint sponsor will add income from a member of their household. Joint sponsor provides an I-864, and joint sponsor's spouse provides an I-864A as a member of joint sponsor's household.

Question 8 has to do with cases where you may be sponsoring TWO immigrants as in a K-1 and a K-2 case, you can have one Joint sponsor providing joint sponsorship of the K-1, and a different Joint sponsor providing joint sponsorship of the K-2

In your joint sponsor's case 8 is checked "YES", and you check "YES" on your I-864 also.
