bit of a question for you Richi, something I've become slightly concerned about..

When we filed the I-130 stuff, I only wrote my permanent address (I've been there over 10 years) on my G325-A, however, for a period of about 6 months I went back and forth to a temporary address for university that I did not include on the form (Loto actually said this would be fine?? ),

I am wondering if I should have included this afterall, as the DS-230 asks to list ALL PLACES lived in for at least 6 months. I realise I should probably include this other address on that form, but I was wondering if I need to mention that address for my police certificate too which I'm about to send off for.

Think this may cause any issues? I'm sure it could easily be explained and corrected.. but still...I'm a paranoid sod.

Waiver approved yesterday.

So Ive sent for the courier to come get my passport.

Without friends like Loto, Wayne amd Claudia, CRN - My expedite and moaning buddy and others who you know who you are I couldnt have done this. I had fantastic support from I2US.net too.

Hi Adam,

well, when I had my interview, the Co asked why I had sent in an ammended G325a with my petition. The original had my ex wifes and current wifes address' on. I was told that that as they werent places Id lived but just stayed, they werent needed. So I sent in a new one ommitting the 2 USA addresss.

I was under the impression that they wanted places where you had been registered to live. At the interview the CO pointed it out and well, not made an issue of it, but asked why Id changed it. I was scared I was gonna have a misrep charge thrown at me or something, but I explained I had thought it meant where I OFFICIALLY lived. But it says resided - 6 months or more. SO including them was the right thing to do.

If I were you Id include everywhere 6 months+ just to be on the safe side. they give you chance to explain everything, but if you knowingly ommitt inportant info, they can hit you with misrepresentation mate.

I hope that makes a bit of sense anyway! The ACPO requests addresses youve lived at too, but only lists your current address when returned.

In short, yes, Id include it mate. I wouldnt want to say 'dont' and questions are asked. Just cover your own backside. You'll be fine then. I know, its a daunting process in all!

No problem Adam. If you have no criminal record, or overstay - you have absolutely nothing to worry about, I guarantee it. Id have a word with a T2 and see whether your expedite has been approved, ours was just around a month, give or take, so you should be coming in for some good news.

Depending on how you prefer to go about it, as soo as you get your case number, apply for an expedite. You will then do all the NVC stuff at the embassy prior to your interview. This also saves you sending your docs to the US, and the NVC at the embassy is really easy. You go pay your money and then go back to the window and hand over the docs they require.

I cant remember if they gave me back my acpo though! I have scans of it. You might want to request the £5 copy of it when you order it too, it will save a lot of 'now where did i put that damn form' scenarios, with a spare!

If you choose to go through the NVC you go at their pace. With us they shot us straight to the embassy and it was so much easier.

Once the consulate has your file after approved expedite, give them a call, get the CIU number and you can email them using that number for updates. if you dont use that number in the subject line, they wont answer, but you only need to call once.

Then they send you the P3 letter asking if you have all your docs. You can email them the response and request an interview as soon as is possible.
