Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Wow, time has flown!!!! I remember sitting on the phone with you all those nights while your visa was processing....I remember the excitement when he was on the plane coming here, and I remember how wonderful you both looked in the wedding photos. Congrats to my BFF and my awesome friend Mark...may you have a lifetime of love and happiness...and I am honored to call you both friends (L)

Thanks, all! :D

It does not seem like we've been married 4 years...and prior to that we were flying back and forth from Holland to the USA for 3 years. Immigration petition, IMBRA mess ( which had nothing to do with us but we were still caught in the crossfire of the law change), long wait for the NOA2, medical, interview, AOS, AOS interview ( OMG that was weird) Green card.....

Lisa and Charles-yes I totally remember 'that thread' and it was a work of art!!!! Sometimes I search and dig it out just to giggle at it again....:lol: Charles, remember I predicted pretty accuratly which day yours and Nessa's RFE or NOA2 or whatever would come in? So many of ppl that filed when we did are no longer on VJ and I miss them, but as long as they are happy then that's obviously the most important thing.

You know, for all it's ecclectic mix of opinions and personalities VisaJourney has been an incredible resource that did help navigate the immigration and helped enable my husband and I to be together perm.. & I am grateful for that. I thank God everyday for Mark and my son Ryan and of course a special TY to God for a BFF like Lisa.
