NVC to US Embassy in MANILA

Our case left NVC on December 17 and it is being sent to the consulate in Manila, Philippines. How long does it usually take for the documents to arrive at the consulate? should i give it a week at two then call the embassy to follow up on it?.. and how long after they received it that we get information about when the interview date would be?

I would give it two weeks and a couple of days because of christmas and new years holidays.

Our case was expedited through NVC. i was able to pay the AOS fee but soon after it was 'paid' i got an email saying they will be sending the case to the consulate since the expedite was approved. it also said any inquiries i have about the case i'll have to contact the consulate. no interview date given by the NVC

i can't find loto's NVC link. is it on his profile. i checked but no luck haha. can u send me the link pleeaaseee

depending on when mailed it takes about 3 days to reach the embassy via DHL. Mine was mailed off on DEC 14 and got delivered on DEC 17. Hope this helps give you and IDeal from mailed off to signed for by the embassy mail room i guess.

where did u get the information as to when it left NVC and arrived in the embassy? will NVC provide the tracking # of some sort? thanks for your help

No they will not provide tracking number, you will know when it is forwarded by AVR message that gives you the date. Then go to DHL.com and track by reference number. Use the date AVR says case was forwarded as the reference number like this "EXP 17 DEC 2010A". Then select philippines as destination. Be sure to play with the date range and start with a couple days before your forward date from NVC. Hopes this help you. If you do this it will list either one package mailed which might be yours or several.

i have an update. i was FINALLY able to get through the USEM and was able to talk to a HUMAN!!! she said that our case has been received electronically on dec.17. she said they are now waiting for the full paper case to be delivered so they can update our case. she also instructed me to call next tuesday or wednesday to schedule an interview appointment. she saw our case was expedited and she told me that they'll give us the soonest interview date in january. i feel so relieved just knowing the consulate has our case even if its just the electronic file.
