I need some help lutfen. I have been searching the Turkish Embassy website to figure out what me(USC) and my husband (TS) need to do to make our marriage offical in Turkiye. I know there is some form that needs to be completed..but to find that form has been difficult:)

I told him we're (the AmeriTurks family here on this thread) are all going to meet up in Vegas and have a good time! And since you're going to be living about 3hrs out I think you and wife are closest to that place.

What is going to be fun is the husbands all together <probably smoking hooka?> and drinking cay, and all us wives playing slots! LOL ha ha lol..... funny

I have a question and maybe some of you fellow Ameriturks can answer: Why Don't they use Clothes Dryers in Turkey like we do in the USA? I see them very seldom like in a Laundry in a Village but for the Norm... they just don't exist and at first I was going nuts and then I took up drying the clothes the Turkish way which isn't so bad, unless it rains for 40 days and 40 nights!

Goodness that is sooo true! When i visit Turkiye I am excited to get home and use my dryer:) When we move to Turkiye (in about 10 years;) I will be asking that this be installed:)

Necmi is wanting to say that the reason is that they don't have the extra money for the electric let alone the dryer itself.

I will work an extra hour or two each week to pay for that electric:)

and btw...i have never seen a Laundry!! does anyone know the Turkce word for it??

Just bought my ticket tonight,I will be leaving April 1st -April 18th.for Turkey.It will be exactly one year in April that I didn't see my husband and my mom.I can hardly wait!!!Miss both of them very much. hello vj i need your helps...i will get my medical exam in ankara 15 febuary 2011...i need to know how long it will take?how much money should i bring

for my medical...i dont know what to do...how much money that they will get from..how much money should i bring 2000$or3000$ ...should i bring more or no..i want to preapare for that since so i wont have any problem over there in ankara

about 300 pictures with family also(i have more than 1000 pictures but my ink is finishing early so i just stoped

plane tickets my wife visited me 6 times in two years she also will here in turkey with me at embassy)

plane tickets i went to istanbul to take my wife from istanbul to adana .from adana to istanbul to bring her...

hotels reservations

letters i my wife sent me for birthdays valetines days cristames new years

the first time when we met she gave me her adress writing by her hands on the card

western union papers she sent me money i sent her money..speedypin phone records

and all the documents copy that we send to uscis,nvc.and all the papers that uscis and nvc sent us..

and also please help me.... the day i will get my interview the first time when i go in the embassy what papers that they ask me to give them anyone can help me please

I believe that you can call them at the number provided to set up the appointment and also what the approximate costs will be involved with the visit, (I am sure that they can't give you an exact amount) and I do not believe that it will cost anywhere NEAR $2-3000.00 which is a relief!

Next,

I think that your Mountain of evidence is good proving that your marriage is real... maybe her or your family can write affidavits that declare that they have knowledge of your Marriage and that it is real and how they know this,

Just something extra if you have time! An example can be found here on VJ!

Any Cards that you sent to one another and IF either one of you have anything that shows BOTH of your names such as bills, reciepts or other documents, invoices etc.

You will need to take the Medical Report with you as well that the Dr will provide to you in a sealed envelope... DO NOT OPEN IT, they will at the Interview.

It would be a good idea for you and your wife to read and re-read what you need to take to your interview and that can be found on the Ankara website... here is a link that will be very helpful... read and follow the instructions very carefully!

ALSO,

I have read from several previous VJ memebers that have attended their interview that you will need some extra photos of you for sure and it may be a good idea to take some of your Wife as well (just to be safe!)

The ones that I am referring to are like the litle ones that you sent in with the original packet. It also shows this on the link that I posted above.

I can't think of anything else at the moment BUT it may help if you posted this same question in the CR1/IR1 forum here on VJ.... there are lots of qualified and helpful folks that may add to what I have suggested.

thank u very much luckywife ...i have 8 pictures i have alot thing with me i have lot of evidence with me 15kg of evidence i have what ever they ask i show them i am not scare anymore i am relax now ....the only thing worry when i go inside the embassy..what papers that they will ask me only that now...
