Is that ok I make a copy from employment verefication letter with the signature at the bottom?I want to do this becasue it is hand written

Of course it's OK to photocopy it or you could type it and have the employer sign it. Your pay stubs are actually more important than the employer letter.

That's a whole other can of worms. Are you working under the table or will you get a W2 form to use to file your tax return? Is he taking out and sending in the social security and federal income taxes?

pushbrk,

Did I read you correctly that I don't have to get an employer's letter as long as I can produce 3-years of IRS issued tax transcripts, copies of my original W-2's, and pay stubs?

That would be great because I would rather not bother my HR to write me a letter and have them ask me what it's for.

Hope Guangzhou consulate would not demand an employer's letter. Please advice.

Thank you.

Yes, it's a common solution and particularly effective when your employment has been pretty stable. Current pay stubs are better evidence than an employer letter.

Yes he does.Last year I did not work. I only worked 4 months. Because I am a fulltime student also.I worked fulltime for 4 months but only with business check with no stub. Also my interview is before the time of tax return. It is on Jan 30. I do not know how to deal with this. Please help

Ask him to provide the 2010 W2 form early. Use that as verification of your income.
