Police Cert New Delhi India

I am about to file my DS230 and I need a police cert for my wife who lives in New Delhi, India. Does anyone know the usual processing times to get one? When she called in they said 60-90 days, I am hoping they are wrong. Also does anyone know what the USCIS does? I thought they were suppose to do background checks, shouldn't they just forward the info to the NVC?

Another thing does anyone know how long does it take for the USCIS to process the G-884, I need to get my original marriage cert back.

I have been hit with delays throughout this whole process, I am starting to lose hope, I just hope this part goes smoothly.
