Why the time goes so slowly or just my time is so slow flows ?

OK you need to stop watching the clock and start planning the wedding or something! LOL you're making me stress out now. In fact, I was reviewing my I-134 draft (affidavit of support) before I had my CPA do my 2010 taxes and also my I-864 forms too. Since I am self employed, I must use "line 22" on my tax return to state my 2010 income. Everything is OK, but I did stress a little bit over it earlier. Not worth my muscles getting tense!

Also, I worked on our wedding venues today for a bit and called around, emailed, got the packages, printed them and put them into a binder... OMG WHY DOES IT COST A BOAT LOAD OF $$$ when we're only having 35-40 guests??? LOL I am so seriously going to skinny out that list! I mean it! I am sticking to budget and that's it. This morinng when K called, I asked him what kind of food... do you think he wants to plan with me? Nope. I also decided to incorporate his culture and heritage into our reception. I have an idea in my head and bunch of stuff going thru my mind ...now to get it into my planning notebook. Work work work!

I'm now going to get my red velvet cupcakes with that beautiful snow cream frosting... omg... LOL this is what I get for watching those Cupcake Divas and the Cake Boss on TLC!

You're right about the wedding planning. We are planning a small wedding after my arrival, but in December we have already planneda wedding in Kenya. So I have a lot on my head. Thanks immediately changed my way of thinking. Work ! Work ! Only a lot of work killing time....

Hows everyone doing? I myself am looking forward to my trip to the states in about 2 weeks. Celebrating 4 years with my fianceé. Got her some nice bling bling!

I have a question, I received an email for my noa on the 27th of december "Hard copy on the 29th"

But if I track my case on the uscis site it says : "On December 21, 2010, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case."

Which one should I look at? "Of course I want the 21st one to be correct!!"

We're doing the ceremony in Gininda's parent's back yard with about the same number of guests (depending on how many are able to make the journey from the UK). A lot cheaper

Apparently, the California Service Center people have almost reached the end of October for K-1 petitions

LOL OK, first.... do not be offended, but all this time I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE BRIDE!!!!!!! oops. LOL LOL... sorry. <<< on me!

Secondly, Go to our Thread Map on post # 549. That helps you get around our thread if you need some info quick.

Lastly, on Page 7, Post 98.... That will tell you about your NOA1 date!

But let me summarize here: Your NOA1 Date is the date that is on the form I797 in the top upper right hand corner of the document. That means, on yours [from what you said], you two were entered INTO the system on December 21, 2010!! Kewl eh?! Your a week earlier than you expected!!

My notice date and "we received" date are completely different.

From what I understand, for VJ, you go by the notice date.

OK kewl listen, your I-797 on the upper right hand corner is the date you're in the system... That's the date that counts. So.... lemme look at mine again... wait for it... brb...

OK, I have mine in hand. Look for the "NOTICE DATE" .... that's when you're in the system. The Rec'd date: that only says when they got it in their hands. When I called them thats what they told me anyways. Are you sure your notice date [that is printed on the upper right hand corner of the I-797C] isn't Dec 23??? Loxy, I think yours is Dec 23, 2010, esp if the site states that date also. Our email and hard copy came a week later also, but neither of those dates are on our formal document. Call them to verify, because our website status reads same date as our NOA1 date too, Dec 2, 2010 -- CSC. (Would that make a difference if our service centers are different?)

Yay girlie Congrats and happy birthday!!

Sam is here this week, which is why I've been so quiet! It's nice to have him in my new house fixing things! lol. We took engagement photos this weekend in New York, :thumbs:they came out so cute! My friend's boyfriend did them for free, well lunch and a box of chocolates from the UK. It was very nice to get something wedding related for free.
