Wow that list looks GREAT Mrs. Loxy! Well Done!

OK so... Assuming your Fiance(e) will not come by boat or car --- those who are from Canada or Mexico within close proximity to US boarders;

I'm curious to know if we get our NOA2's (in a timely fashion ... lol, pray pray pray), which will you choose to transport them here when booking their flight:

Roundtrip ?

One Way?

I know one thing, if I can financially swing it, I want to go over to pick him up but only after I know he's got that Visa in his hands. Problem is, booking a flight that close to departure is EXPENSIVE! To book his one way is even more $$ than a R/T.

I'm thinking RT for each; just remember the beneficiary on the K1 Visa MUST HAVE PROOF THEY USED THE FIRST HALF OF THE TICKET. Keep records. Airlines or Immigration doesn't care if you lose the money on the last leg back... lol. Evidently, they're used to it. I wonder about getting air travel insurance for rescheduling flight; maybe request airline credit ... but watch the expiration date.

My friend mentioned her fiance will book both their flights 8 days post Interview Approval. hmmmm.... Any Thoughts folks??

Hello all,

Just getting around to joining the thread. Here a few dates I crunched out based on Igors list and some timeline info. They are referenced from my 12/17 Noa1 so you can adjust yours to that

Days________Noa2 Date__________Interview Date (58 days from Noa2, avg for Honduras)

90___________3/17/2011_________5/14/2011______- The wishful thinking days

111__________4/7/2011__________6/4/2011_______- Avg of all but I forget where I got it :(

150__________5/16/2011_________7/13/2011______- 5 month

172__________6/7/2011__________8/4/2011_______- 3 Month avg from timelines

I also found a way to pretend like I am making progress. Go to Igors list

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl= Sort by unapproved and your service center, then find your name. Look at the number beside your name. This will go down as others get approved, do not expect it to go to 0 as some will not be updated or approved. But at least you get to see it go down.

Each day that passes is one less day we need to wait until we are together forever. :D

Edit: to try to get some formatting.

Hey there! This is great!!! I can add you to our Dec timeline...I used the countdown to NOA2 based on approx 155 days. The formula decreases every day and so do the averages. This is cool and gives us all hope that we'll make our fall / winter weddings!!! :) thanks again!

I think this program has literally given me GREY HAIR on my temples! You know I used to only have 12 total when I met Kadir.

After our engagement, I had 24, total.

After gathering and collecting official documents, submitting the K1 Petition, the waiting pains and now preparing for the NOA2?

I HAVE 24 GREY HAIR ON EACH SIDE NOW! lol ......... see what the men do USCIS does to you? lol

Thanks for the invite Mari & Kadir, such a long thread... :whistle:

Well, as you know, we´re also december filers.

I-129F was sent on 12/14/2010 and recieved on 12/20/2010.

"The last update" (don´t know what that really means) was 12/31/2010.

:crying:

We may get a RFE because in NOA1 my country (beneficiary) says "unknown" (I abbreviated it). And one of my three names is missing (yes, three) although we attached another page to clarify it because it didn´t fit in the box...

wow i wish i was you... :wow::rofl:

With the way my fiance's job has been going, he probably won't be here to bring me to the US with him. I hope he is but I would understand if he wasn't. No harm in making that trip on my own because I have been flying to see him on my own a few times now. I would go by plane because I don't own a car. I'd probably just shell out for that one way trip so I have as simple to understand a trip down as possible for later. Things might change from now to then though. With the way VSC is going, I hope they keep up the rapid pace. It'll be a dream to get approved earlier than... ~checks estimated approval date on timeline~ ...early June lol.
