I've got my interview date. July 13. wish me luck

Absolutely we wish you luck, and send our positive vibes of support.

I am amazed at how fast other consulates are able to provide interview dates! There sure must be alot of Canadians accessing entry into the USA via Montreal to account for long waits!

Have a great day everyone!

Lise

Wow, congrats!

Do they give you your passport back with the visa in it there and then in NZ then? We (UK) have to wait for a courier to deliver it, which can take up to 10 days!

NZ's Consulate is awesome - my paperwork already had a huge red stamp saying approved on it. The interviewing officer was fantastic and even made jokes. I would have hardly have called it an interview either, it all seemed so easy compared to the wait!

I am popping back in today to collect my passport, I could have had it couriered but choose to collect it since I am flying out on Friday. So 24 hours is all it takes yay!

I cant believe you guys all have to wait so long for interviews - I really am feeling for you all

xx

I think we should have him flown to Canada instead. In fact, I think any consulate with a 2 week or less wait should have to send 2 or 3 officers to Montreal until they have this backlog fixed. September 21 is ridiculous!

we just scheduled ours for July 6th.. The interview wait for Mexico is only 7 days lol.. but we have to fly to Ciudad Juarez so we needed to give ourselves some space between now and then to plan things out. Good luck to everyone else who is going for the interviews soon too!

hey how long it take to fill the I 134 form and gather all what is needed for it?

we might need a co sponsor because, my fiancé was deployed in afghanistan last year, he came back in march and he works only one saturday in the month for the national guard but he got money from the army...and he is looking for a full time job so I think we might need a co sponsor...

Aw ####### I sent the "old" one to Byron last week and he received it yesterday. I suppose I will have to send him the new one now? Do you think it will matter?? I guess I will anyway. It only costs 98 cents to send a letter. Just as long as I don't have to resend all the documentation....that should be ok right? What do you think? Thanks!
