here are some news from Switzerland:

Package 3 sent, med. exam. done, fee paid. now we are waiting for the interview date.

I am more than ready to move to the US...people here starting to make me crazy. Can`t go anywhere without getting asked if I have news on the visa. It seems everyone has nothing else to do than keep asking me...sometimes I just would like to not get reminded all the time. The waiting is already hard enough. Small town thing I guess...Well hopefully soon it will be over...

I hear ya! We feel the same way. We just paid our fee today. package 3 sent, med exam done, fee paid, waiting on interview. so happy we can finally relax for a little before we get married and just enjoy now. thank GOD. we both deserve it. we ALL deserve it. keep in touch!

London interview date!

Gin called Dept of State to see if the medical results had been received at the embassy - they have, but more importantly, packet 4 has been sent!

Interview date is 18th July at 9am

I hear ya! We feel the same way. We just paid our fee today. package 3 sent, med exam done, fee paid, waiting on interview. so happy we can finally relax for a little before we get married and just enjoy now. thank GOD. we both deserve it. we ALL deserve it. keep in touch!

Oh yes, we all deserve some peaceful and relaxing moments:-) we should all get together sometimes and party when this will be over

I'm confused at you people who have said you've had your medicals already before getting packet 4.. I thought you have to wait until you get packet four before you can book your medical?

I think that each embassy has different rules - London requires the medical before stating that your ready for interview (form DS-2001), so can be done any time after the LND case number is allocated.

Yeah don't mind us English filers. Definitely check with Canada see what they want.

With UK as long as your case is logged you can fill out forms, get your medical, pay the fee, all that jazz before interview letter.

Yeah, I was going to say...what date did they know when your interview was relative to when you sent in packet 3/r? Was it a week? 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

They didn't know last week when we checked that packet 3 had been logged, so they didn't decide until after the medical results had been received, I think.

Packet 3 went back 17th May, was delivered 18th May and logged 26th May.

Hi all!

Sorry to have been MIA lately!

Left Ohio last Tues, arrived Thurs morning 6am.....medical at 11am, interview today at 10.30am....APPROVED.....POE Friday......

Phew!!!

Wow, congrats!

Do they give you your passport back with the visa in it there and then in NZ then? We (UK) have to wait for a courier to deliver it, which can take up to 10 days!

Montreal takes up to 10 days to return your passport also. In some cases it has even taken a bit longer!. Also, the next available apppointment in Montreal is Sept 21!
