Hello fellow December filers! Finally made it to the thread. We sent out our packet 12/17 and our NOA1 is dated 12/22. We are with VSC. Now patiently (for now) waiting, praying for baby to be here by the end of the Summer :) Good Luck to us all!

Anyone have wedding dates set? We do!

No wedding date for us, but we are planning how we want to do it. More than likely we will do the JOP thing to legally meet the 90 day period, but plan ceremonies for here in the USA for my family and friends that we both have here, then another in Okinawa where her family and friends (and some of mine also) are. It's kinda scary to plan something and not know exactly when her visa will get approved. I just worry about something happening that might delay processing of applications, it's the government and I know them all too well!!

I'm excited about it though cause every day is another one closer!!!

April 2007 - Met Sonoko in Okinawa Japan

June 2010 - I left Okinawa, relationship continued

November 12, 2010 - Wedding proposal on Sonoko's visit to USA!

December 10, 2010 - I129F sent

December 23, 2010 - NOA1

March 22, 2011 - NOA2

March 25, 2011 - NVC receives petition

March 29, 2011 - NVC sends petition to Naha, Okinawa Consulate

April 8, 2011 - Packet 3 Instructions received

April 25, 2011 - Interview (PASSED!!)

May 9, 2011 - VISA received

May 18, 2011 - Arrived to the USA

Aug 16, 2011 - AOS Sent

I'm here! Getting ready for packet 3 so I can go UBER fast after NOA2 lol :) I found a link to fraud watch outs yesterday. It didn't necessarily pertain to K1 visas, but thought it was good to see anyways: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/packages/pdf/nyregion/USCIS_Fraud_Referral_Sheet.pdf

A few tips for everyone...if you don't know already, get to know your future honey!!! Not the loveydovey stuff, but his/her medical history, favorite restaurants, family pets, favorite music, favorite video games! etc.

Lots of stuff for us all to do while we wait this short time for NOA2. It will be here before you know it! Don't ask what to do once NOA2 comes, find out now! Stay busy :)

xoxo.
