December Filers

Hi December filers,

Our contribution of recipes is collated,but when I try to attach the file it says it is too big.

Any suggestions? I formatted it in PPT PDF

In Adobe, you could try Document -> Reduce File Size and see if that works. If not, you may have to separate it into two or three PDF files. If it doesn't work, feel free to send me a message, I can give you my email and try some other ideas. Plus, I'd love to see all the recipes! haha

This may have been posted before... but I called NVC and got a tracking number LNDxxxxxxxxxx Does this mean it's been sent? I thought I saw a post about how to track it but can't find it now? I've spent the last 2 weeks crazy about this...Mari and and every one else, if this has been answered already, please remember some of us were in different places when posts and information was made, and may have not paid that much attention to it at the time (I've always paid attention, but gotten so caught up in certain aspects, that I once spent an hour going post to post to find an answer I knew had already been there, so may have missed something vitally important.) My question now is, even though I *know* it's been answered before, is, how do I use the tracking number? I saw a post about tracking to the embassy but I can no longer find it..

my heart is still ponding!!! my hand shaking!!! omg!omg!!what a good day!!!! i was about to get ready going to the parlor for my hair spa and treat my lil man to JOlibee..(after we had videochat with my hubby)!!! when my hubby text me to get back on and call on skype,,i was wondering why ,because we just had a talk like a minute ago..

and he told me the very gooooood news!!!happy feet!!!! :dance: he was checking the USCIS site and he found out that we are approved!!! :dance: :dance: :dance !!!! wow!

Hey! You have received your NVC case number. Awesome! That means you can most likely schedule your medical. I'm not positive how to track it, but a quick search on the boards should solve it. I know it has something to do with DHL but that's all I know I'm just trying to find out what our case number is at this point haha.

Congrats! I suspect you'll be hearing something from your consulate pretty soon!!

Hey guys. Just an update on my RFE situation. The RFE was acknowledged by VSC on May 16th, so you can probably add that to our Decemberite timeline, DizzyLox. We're in RFE Response Review limbo now. It's kind of frustrating to have to wait what could be an additional month or more before VSC looks at our RFE. Oh well, I'm trying to be patient and give them the 60 days they say it'll take.

Just wanted to let all the December filers know that I received my NOA2 today!!! My NOA1 date was December 29. Good luck to all those waiting. It shouldn't be much longer.

PS: I AM SERIOUSLY FINISHED WITH K's FILE (both Embassy and his duplicate & my duplicate copy too). I cannot tell you what a relief that was but heck, that was a ton of work if you ask me! I have to wonder how some of the Bene's complete those forms if they don't speak, read or write very well in English. My challenge was to grab the information I needed, translate Turkish documents and make sure all his records matched on all his forms. Turkey has the extra DS-157 form and then this janky 'you handwrite the info in" paper too boot! I totally typed it out nicely and anyway there was no way all his work in the last ten years would fit on that page, let alone the Turkish addresses! LOL thank God most of them were US Bases which all I had to do was write, "US Army Base -- Afghanistan" or wherever he was.

Glad it's finished, but K is still on base waiting for his Passport and his release!!!! I spoke with his sister today and he called there to let them know he was on his way after he gets it. No fone signal and I think he had turned in his fone back to boss. Decompressing (relaxing) is probably a good idea for him but he better move it when he gets home to his parents house cuz this file is waiting for his signature!

Well...Praise God. After 21 days from NOA2, finaly our petition was entered into the system at NVC and case# generated.
