Hay Dizzy, we are good! Just waiting on my bank statement letter (bank employee required "remotivation" on Friday but the Branch Manager was cool!) then I can send Sweet Pea the packet.

I am kind of wishing Tim & Mav and some of our other friends would get NOA # 2 it makes me want to call some one and give them the :protest: well, you know what I mean...

Rex

I know. I certainly agree. But I believe their cases were victims of being put in a january filer's box. They will see NOA2 by the end of this month. Have to remember I wasn't expecting to see NOA2 until Mid June. There's still time

Kiria,

I really think you're just a little confused. We all sent our cases to the Texas Service Center so that they can process our checks and then route our cases to the correct service center...either California or Vermont. You have been sent to Vermont. Just like I was. You mentioned earlier that you called NVC and NVC said they couldn't do anything for you - right, because they can't. Your case isn't at NVC. It is at VSC.

In order to put in an expedite request you will have to contact VSC: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/297378-vsc-phone-number/

Please don't stress. Calm down. Do a little research. Your NOA2 is coming. Check the link I just posted above and call for a service request.

An expedite request means they will prioritize your case based on a reason specified by them as being grounds for prioritization. Being outside processing times is grounds for prioritization. Ask to speak to a Tier 2 representative. I have mentioned that some VSC petitions cannot put in a service request until they're hit 30 days past the 5 months mark which you are a little less than 20 days from. But it won't hurt to try. Otherwise, contact your congressman and/or senator. The USC would have to do that and all it takes is a simple phone call, email, or letter.

Good luck!

xo

I think it makes good sense to duplicate, even triplicate every thing no matter whether they ask for it or not.

All this stuff may come in handy for all the other steps we need to do (AOS etc)

and....recipe collection is in the works and will be posted soon! For now, off for a long walk with my daughter and grandchildren...it is a beautiful sunny day.

Have an awesome day,

Lise

We have to do a duplicate because the Embassy splits the duplicates of Financial part into two files: One goes to NVC for AOS, and the other stays in the original file packet #3.

We (Petitioners/ Beneficiarys), make a duplicate for ourselves if we want; this is not mandatory (just a smart choice on our part). The above is ....unless we want to go into AP?

Today, I put together K's personal file he will take with him to Embassy. The official one is completed unless I think of something else and revise it AGAIN. I know I'll be going over it once or twice again..... 'for the just in case"

Have fun with the kids!

Processing more January than December at the moment.... would be nice to get NOA2 by end of the week, so I can hopefully be in usa by end of august to start college.

Do you think its too early to get medical and have fiancee & co-spondor send me i-134? Sent in police check last week.
