No wedding date for us yet.. we're hoping for a destination wedding in Mexico in the spring of 2012... after our legal marriage in the US of course! :-)

Awesome!! That's a nice safe date! Good for you

We do! 11-11-11! Fingers crossed. When's yours?

I love the 11/11/11! We thought about that but went for 10/01/11 instead =)~ Gotta love those binary dates!!

@Mari & Kadir, that picture is so awesome!

My fiance and I aren't going to have much of a wedding. We are probably going get me my K1 and then get hitched at a courthouse once I am approved and move down there. Maybe eat an ice cream cake after. Like a whole one. Just the two of us. No wedding = more cake for us. Then afterward we'll probably have to set an exercise regiment .

Believe me we originally WANTED to go that route, but then we found out we had to have a visa! (durrrr). So we figured we have to wait anyway why not do the sha-bang? Good for you anyway! You'll start your marriage with more $$$ than us! lol <3

hi i want to be included on the list of the dec filers!how?pls im new here.thanks

you're in there!

Thanks for the invite Mari & Kadir, such a long thread...

Well, as you know, we´re also december filers.

I-129F was sent on 12/14/2010 and recieved on 12/20/2010.

"The last update" (don´t know what that really means) was 12/31/2010.

:crying:

We may get a RFE because in NOA1 my country (beneficiary) says "unknown" (I abbreviated it). And one of my three names is missing (yes, three) although we attached another page to clarify it because it didn´t fit in the box...

The last update is your "touch" date. Aww, hang in there. I know a few other folks have beneficiary country unknown...some were affected, some weren't. Just cross your fingers and know that RFEs aren't the end of the world. If anything, it means your case is being processed which is ALWAYS good news. chin up! <3

I already posted to one of the "November 2010 Filers" threads since I mailed the package on 11/22/2010, and the "Current Case Status" page said they received it on November 30 [looking there now, I see it has changed to November 22].

NOA1 says December 1, 2010, though, so I guess that means we belong here.

Hello December Filers! I hope everyone is doing fine and patiently awaiting the elusive NOA2. I heard the first good news today concerning the Vermont Service Center-They actually approved quite a few people today. I know it has only been 6 weeks since our NOA1 but it definitely seems like 6 months. We wish everyone the best of luck with a very speedy and error free process!

Money is really the biggest issue for us and neither of us are big on ceremonies anyway. So it worked out okay in our circumstance. I sometimes wish some things were different and a big wedding was possible but c'est la vie! I'm sure you will all have beautiful weddings :-). I am way happy to hear about VSC pushing a bunch of approvals! I hope they keep that up and power through September, October and November! Because then (a little selfishly, I admit) it'll be our turn! :D
