The USCIS site says "For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State". Since I am to impatient to wait for the mail. What triggers it to go to these places and how long does it normally take. Anyone have any idea.

Congrats all who have been approved and best wishes for those still waiting.

It goes automatically :) usually 2 - 3 weeks at NVC

I like the idea Diz... but don't forget about some of us STILL waiting for our NOA2! :-(

I cannot believe how fast this is going though. I may... maybe... check USCIS, like, 5 times a day right now.

CONGRATULATIONS DIZ! :)

There's no way I'd forget! but even if you're waiting for NOA2, "Days to NOA1" is no longer applicable. "Days to NOA2" is more applicable :)

We're all in this together. I'll be updating until the entire spreadsheet is pink!!!

Here's a question I'm absolutely positive has been answered probably about a million times... how do you know when NVC gets the petition? I'm assuming they send you a letter or something..

All you have to do is call up the NVC so they can give you your Embassy ID#

They'll let you know if they have your file or if its still with the Service Center.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FELIZ!!!!!!!!!!! THANK GOD ......... NOA2 APPROVED!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah!!!!!!

THOSE STILL WAITING FOR NOA2

CSC:

Please check the Diz Dec Timeline for "Time left to NOA2". Some of you are nearing the last week of your wait. You should be safe to call USCIS Customer Service and request and expedite due to being beyond the 5 month processing time. You will also be able to enlist the help of your congressman and/or Senators

VSC:

With the recent speed up from VSC, I'm not positive if it would be best that you wait out the 6 months, or begin to call within the next week or so for expedites based on where you are on the DEC timeline. I still feel that 6 months would bring you a few less "no" answers than trying at 5 months but i'm never going to tell you not to try. I truly believe the rest of the NOA2s will be completed this month. I would at least wait until 5 months has been hit.

It is right around the corner, gang. Stay positive!
