:o Im thinking it might be time to put in a service request at csc my noa 1 date was dec 1 im just at 5 mths but it seems our app got misplaced. does anyone know how i go about this?

omg.... you and Ms Manila are the same! LOL, so you know what you get? :o (You) & :bonk: (Me spanking you with my left slippah for spazzing out)

Carol, How do you know for a fact that your application got misplaced?

Did you get an RFE requesting evidence? I am not finding you on the Decemberite Timeline (??) so I don't know is why I'm asking. You can call the USCIS@ CSC and ask them if your case has been approved or status (because they did approve mine on Apr 13 and the official site was not updated till Apr 18 when they did text & email). Basically, you could already be approved and the site is behind. :star: (which is what I'm hoping for you) Here is the number 800.375.5283.

*(K1 / I-129F is not an application for Visa;it is a Petition. It gives them permission have a 1x entry and you can marry him/her in US. Then, our marriage... we now submit an application for Adjustment of Status & LPR).

With love and good luck!

Mari

PS: Keep us posted!!

So now: :ranting: You & :bonk: Me! Remember I said that???

Hi Mari I dont know that my file has been misplaced lol, i was just saying that because its like they skipped right past ours. I did find a number to call last week and they were really rude about me calling, but i couldnt seem to find the number i called again. so thank you for the # im gonna call asap. and I thought i had posted a link to my time line but maybe not- oops-

And then... ( You) & :bonk: (Me! For assuming they lost your file for the 'say so' lol... sheesh you scared ME! lol... "Lost File"!? Geeeeeeeeezuse!) Incidently, you may assume I am using my left slippah!

@Mari so I just called spoke to really sweet girl who said my case is in fact out of processing time however when she tried to put in a service request it stopped her because it said there timeline has me 7 days out from my noa2.

So she said to call back in 7 days if i havent received notice by then. There wasnt anything else she could do.

Again: :protest: ( You) & ........Me... ....Me.......... :bonk: (ME, totally wearing out my left slippah on you for you not refering to my original post in the first place!)

Yay the harassment worked! got my notice a few min ago.

REALLY? JUST NOW?? ...YOU FIGURED THAT OUT?! LOL CAROL... you know what that means?

<sighs> :dancing::dance: (You) & :dead: (ME because you damn near killed me today! )

You get to go to the Naughty Chair and Have a Time Out...

you can learn to stare at this and "think about it" till you chillax!

When I read Dan's post, I went back to the I-129F's instructions. It says if we do not have our US Birth Certificate (or other 2 acceptables)... in place of, we can send all pages of valid and current US Passport. Did we even had to include our passports? I sent both.

I had figured that the birth certificate was sufficient as well. I decided to throw in a copy of the photo page of the passport at the last minute, but that was it. After sending it, feeling like I had crossed all my tees and dotted all my eyes, I read something about "copies of evidence that you and your fiancé(e) have personally met within the last two years", and the passport (including the stamps) was listed as primary evidence, while photos and receipts and such were secondary. I did include copies of boarding passes, but I think those were the only things that turned out to be on the "primary" list.

Dan: good luck and happy to see you ... was wondering where you've been! Keep us posted.

Thanks, I'll be sure to do that as things develop. At least the (first) wait is over.

Kewl SF!!!

I'm right there behind you on that dispute letter and so long as you can prove the error in black and white. I agree, $400 bucks is ridiculous! Seriously, that is obscene!

.... we'll pray that the document will be sent to "your new home!" I wonder if they'll allow fax, or... email with scanned attachments?? Either way, when you call the NVC (or groom boy does), then they will give your NVC #. You only need your WAC # to get it.

I'm worn out... night all,

Mari

PS: Caught up on a thread tonight and the Dec 2010 IR-1's mentioned insinuated [complained more or less] that our Dec Fam (Decemberites K1's) are getting all the approvals from CSC ; that Dec I-130s were haulted to do ours. LOL LOL Back at 'em... Thanks for noticing the organizational skills of our Timeline but there's an Entire VSC & CSC DEC K1 Family here that are waiting just like you Dec IR-1's. So keep that to yourselves and tell the CSC! Let's not use "Dec K1's as an sorry excuse for you waiting pains"

I have to confess...although I'm thrilled beyond belief to have the NOA2, I do have a tinge of sadness now that I have no reason to stalk Igor's list every few hours to see if I've moved up. Or to fastidiously compile my own statistics and graphs. Or to visit the USCIS website every day. I don't know what I'm going to do now that I don't have anything to check; I've been a total stalker for 5 months now.

I guess I'll spend all of my suddenly spare time doing actual work...if we had an employee of the month award, I'd suddenly be a contender again
