@ Sun: I still like this name better than your 'real name' and did you get my email today?

Hi Tita Mari!

Thank you so much for your message. You are toooooo SWEET! I really appreciate it.

I know, how did you find out I was the Sun? LOL. Hubby is hope because he's the positive one. How's it going? A lot of people are getting approved!! Feels great! :)

@ Carrie: Yeah for Reilly coming to visit and I agree with Becs on his coming home with an extra luggage. Does he use one carrier for flights yet? If not, he (or you) can sign up at the particular airlines you will use on their website. If you sign in for Credit Card as Bec mentioned you get a free red velvet cake milage and loads of perks for future trips! Now just curious, are you going to be watching the Royal Wedding?

@ Bec: GREAT INFORMATION!!!! Thanks for posting this and btw, when you're on this side of the country... (what state are you in?) anyway, if & when you are here in CA., its Me and You sistah, we're going to have 'snacks' ... lol he he. <<< just as red as that little devil.

@ Diz: OMG YOU have outdone yourself on the Timeline! See, this is why we are really indebted to your brilliant and invaluable knowledge. WE LOVE YOU DIZZERS .. The Future MRS. LOXY! *Mr Loxy, we love you too for supporting Diz and helping with the Timeline too. Thank You.

@ Sun: I still like this name better than your 'real name' and did you get my email today?

@ Decemberite Family from VSC:

How can we ALL help with the "encouraging' to positively move VSC along? I want to see PINK on that chart and I was thinking this morning aside from the Tweets, is there another media we can use to say, "Thank you for considering and approving our case files in advance" kind of letter in hardcopy? I would be more than happy to do more than an email on behalf of the Decemberite Family. The way I see it is this is a way to serve another. There is a joy in that alone.

So my thoughts are if each one of us CSC filer's picks 2 of you from VCS --- we write a brief statement for example,

" On behalf of my very good friends , Wendie & Sam, I THANK YOU VSC STAFF in Advance for considering their case file for approval as their wedding is approaching and we are very much looking forward to sharing that day with them...etc... "

Sincerely,

Mari

If anyone of our Decemberite Family would like to join in and 'serve' another, please let's see what happens and just do it! (Nike says that right? "Just Do It" is theirs? kewl. lol Anyway, what's your thoughts please?

Love to you all,

Mari

@ Mari... I think I will plan one of those cakes this weekend... soooo scary though cause sometimes it's hard for me to stop the yumminess!!

I also like your idea to support our VSCers! I know the anticipation has to be killing them seeing all the NOA2s come across. But all your VSCers, even though you are a little later than the CSC, your time will come and it will be WONDERFUL!!! Just hold in there and keep your sanity and patience!!!

OMG, Larry the Cable Guy is doing stuff with the Marines on TV. I'm not a huge fan of him, but this is pretty funny!

Congrats to the many today who also got their NOA2s!!!

Huh thanks for keeping us so positive! They want us to send them 2 Letters of Intent and more evidences for our meeting... gosh i sent them first time a bunch!!! The date of it 04-18-2011

And great idea about green color

Get the letters of intent, I used verbatim the ones off of VisaJourney and it was fine. Also for proof of meeting, make sure you send stuff dated BEFORE your NOA1!! Otherwise they may keep asking!

Good luck and be sure to let us know the outcome and it should be quick once you send those off!!

Typically, yes once they get what they are requesting from you, that should complete your file and we'll all be looking for your NOA2 just after. If you have any idea of what they might be after, you can kinda start preparing for it. Was your notice by text/ email or a hardcopy in the mailbox? If you need help maybe you can post your question and one of us could help somehow too. You're doing OK Lady! Keep that spirit always,

Mari

I got the hardcopy yesterday. I need to provide more proof that we've met in person. so far i'm going to send my passport stamps to South Africa, and he sent me a copy of his passport that has stamps to the US. I have my airline tickets. I sent pictures of him and I together, but they weren't film dated, so now i'm sending the few filmdated photos i DID take. I also have bank statements showing that I made purchases in SA. Can you think of anything else I could send???

OK if you went to a place on a train or bus together. I sent in our receipt (had our names on it) for bus seat tickets which stated "Seats 19 +20".

Our Engagement Ring's Receipt with our Jewler presenting them in the box tied with the Turkish Red ribbon. Pics of the engagement, esp if with both of you and his family.

If you had Registered with the US State Dept for US Embassy (USC Travel Document Receipt = states your registration of travel plans, and the dates you were in a foreign country)

Hotel Receipts with Your names

Random Receipts (bank atm withdrawls, Fuel for road trips, restaurants [incl two of you IN that restaurant if possible]

That's all I can think of now but it's late for me here. If I think of anything else, I'll post you!

No you didn't...that's hysterical!

I just looked it up, her name was Portia Porcupine from the Get Along Gang.

How do you check Igor's List?

At the top of the screen, on the dark blue bar, there is a menu item called Immigration Timelines. Click on this item and on the next screen, in the middle of the page, about 1/4 of the way down, you'll see a blue phrase Processing Status: Igor's List. Select this link. The results that show automatically are for the K-1, I-129F, CSC, Unapproved Petitions. You can modify these results by selecting from the various drop-down menus.
