looking for NVC holidays scedule

please help me!!

i need to know NVC holidays because i am going to send my DS 230 package next week. I wonder how long they will close for Christmas and New year holidays.

Since Christmas and New Year fall on a Saturday, Friday, December 24, and Friday, December 31, will be non-working federal holidays this year.

Just wanna make sure they will not close for so long. I heard they might close form Dec 24 to Jan 3. i don't know if it's true or not.

People IN the offices take vacations too, its hard/impossible to know if you end up on one of the desks that belongs to someone who went on a 2 week holiday vacation.

Exactly. As in many non-commercial businesses things ultimately slow to a standstill beginning this week until the 2nd week of the new year.

Have Patients, they work but not at full strength, a friends

works there and told me many take Vacation time the last 2

weeks of the year or they lose there vacation time.

So time will tell if processes continue to trickle in or

speed up after the first of the year.

I talked to a customer service rep. last night, and asked, just out of curiosity, if they would really be working over the next couple weeks. He assured me that many would be there and working hard! Now, of course I know that half of them will be on vacation, and this guy really was just trying to appease me, but it made me feel better! ;-)
