Hi Everyone

My husband and i have our interview for our Green Card on jan 21st and although a list has been sent i just wanted to confirm what everyone else took to the interview? Also, does anyone know if my interview is on the 21st will i receive my Work Authorization before this or will i need to wait until the interview is approved?

10/09/2010 - Married in ATL, GA

05/10/2010 - Sent AOS Package to USCIS

06/10/2010 - AOS Package received at Chicago Lockbox

14/10/2010 - Email/Text sent from USCIS to say they had received our AOS and NOA1 was in the mail

18/10/2010 - NOA1 Received via Mail

22/10/2010 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter

08/11/2010 - Biometrics Appointment

18/12/2010 - Letter received for interview appointment

21/12/2010 - Received EAD and AP

21/01/2011 - Interview!

AOS APPROVED!

03/25/2011 - Green Card Received

If your greencard interview is approved you wont get an EAD. You will have to wait untill the greencard comes to work.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

If you applied for work authorization with your AOS then it might come in the mail before your interview, they seem to take around 60 days or so. However, if you are approved for the greencard it effectively nullifies the EAD as the greencard in itself is permission to work.
