i just called the nvc AVR and it said that my case was completed on december 17, i m so excited.

now what s the average time to be send to the consulate any body knows?

Congrats on CC..within a couple of days you will get your appointment letter and your case will be forwarded to USEM.

Citizenship next step!

My case was completed on 12/15. When I spoke to an NVC operator after my CC, he told me that Jan interview list has been already closed and NVC schedule Feb interview only during the first two weeks of Jan. So literally I will have to wait until first two weeks of Jan to have my interview scheduled. I don't know how true is that. Good Luck.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

Congratulations. I see from the timelines Morocco is open with their interview dates. Since December scheduling (for January) is closed I would start looking at early February.

Hey Great NEWS

Congrats

It can be possible to be done by the end of February

if things go fine.

It usually it takes NVC 5 to 14 days for your paperwork

to arrive to the US Embassy where they will let you

know when your interview date will be.

Make sure your ready for thei interview and have

all your thing done and ready on time.
