its been almost 2 months after i recieved the yellow letter. until now i have not recieved any interview letter. any advice guys?

There is a line, and look at it this way, at least you are not standing in it. If you want your interview notice now, just make nonrefundable airline reservations, then it will come in.

I don't know what a yellow letter is and don't know what you are filing for, since it is not indicated on your profile.

You also do not have a time line, so can tell from that what process you are in.

The only thing I can tell you is that if you are waiting for a letter in the mail in the Philippines, forget about that idea.

The postal service in the Philippines is horribly unreliable.

It's best to call.

I know the feeling of waiting. Don't worry, it will come. I believe mine also took over a month and I read from others that it even took longer. You have a lot of holidays right now and it is really a lousy period to get something done fast, especially from the government. Be patient, it probably will come very soon. The yellow letter at least indicates that they are working on your file.

Please enlighten me, am I missing something?

What is the yellow letter, I have not heard of this before. What type of case processing involves a yellow letter and who sends it??

What does it say? What is it for?

You really shouldn't try to give advice to posts you absolutely know nothing about. It only confuses the O.P.s.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Hello Kako, as you know I too have not received an interview letter since my biometrics last September. i haven't even received a yellow letter and when I called the 1-800 customer service number I was told that it was OK not to receive a yellow letter and that interview scheduling could take up to 90 days. In a few days the 90 days will be up. I will call them again but I am afraid they will only ask me to wait. Not really sure what to do next.

LOL buy a nonrefundable airline ticket, USCIS watches that and will schedule an interview the same day you plan on leaving.

Wonder if it is a good idea to post processing dates, okay for the guys and gals that are first, not so good for the people that are last. And someone has to be last.

When my wife applied, and we applied at the earliest possible date due to desperation with the I-751 super slow process, we never paid attention to the N-400. She barely gets her ten year card, then its a mad rush for her to study for that civics test and even more trips to the field office. And at a time when we really needed a break from the USCIS.

Interview went fast, then they misplaced her application for her oath ceremony, and have to go through that again when they already misplaced her I-751 application. How can we be that lucky? She had a ten year card and a renewed foreign passport, was good for ten and five years. Then after she got her certificate, a lot more things to do, because the first thing she learned, she could no longer travel like she could the day before she got her certificate. More chasing around and more cold hard cash.
