Hello Guys,

Its show time at the Lagos consulate in a couple of days time and was wondering if I have any one who could help boost my self esteem......Just like a job interview one is always scared no matter what of the unknown and who one is gonna meet whether a fair person or hard head with loads of questions to ask and all. Although I am well prepared for the JOurney ahead with a lot of supporting documents and loads of pictures but the fear of the unknown is just altogether crazy. I have promised my wife that I am gonna do the snake    once I am approved right in front of the interviewer. I really cant wait till the end of this long journey.

A quick question though.....could any one advice on the position for the interview. Am I going to be seated or is it going to be a window interview??

Thank you as you share your experiences and also jeer me up for my big day......

Good Luck! Have faith that all will be well. All you can do is your best, the rest is left to God. Just be confident, business-like and secure in your answers. Take a lot of supporting evidence - more than you need - of your relationship and be organized and efficient in turning over documents to the CO. All your fellow Nigerian CR-1-ers are right behind you rooting for you!!!!

Please don't forget to post your experience afterwards....we wish you the best!

I agree with NigeriaorBust, make sure your phone records in order. It seems they might be paying more attention to the phone records this past month. Good luck on your interview!!

Bring lots of phone records.

I have more than enough evidence (Infact an empty laptop bag full of evidence). I have skype logs for myself and also for my wife. I have her Tmobile bills from JAN 2009 up till september 2010 when she changed provider to AT n T so that sept bill till date. I have rebtel call logs from July 2010 when she started using the callcard company. I have my Zain cell phone records as well from Jan 2010 till date well highlighted with details of calls to her and from her. I have emails logs from Jan 2009 when we started our relationship till date. I have yahoo msgr chat logs from JAn 2009 till date. I have two photo albums of our trips to the UK and also her trip to Nigeria including our wedding. When I look at the chunk I really do feel I have too much and even feel like reducing it. But When I read lagos consulate reviews about everything I hold on strong that it is better to have more than enough than not to have enough. My wife thinks I am worrying too much and they wont even ask for anything from me. But I tell her it is my duty to worry and I have them anyways. My interview is in 3 days time and I have been praying for favor from God that it would be a walk over. See you guys in a coupla dayz with my Good news

Sounds like you're very good to go. My hubby just got his approved last week and he told me the CO was more focus on the phone records. We had skype, peezy and at&t so we sound similar. Just be confident, God is already there for yah!
