Is there anything else we can do??? On November 17th was our 5 months. At that time I called USCIS. USCIS said I had to wait another 30 days before I could request an inquiry. After talking to a few people on here, I was told that is not true and to try again. So I called USCIS again and requested for inquiry as to why it was taking so long. This time they took my information. USCIS said they would get back to me by today December 17, 2010. Then I also called the senator's office and placed an inquiry with the senator's office to see if they could move things any faster.

Today is the 17th of December and the senator's office had not heard anything and nor did I. So I called the USCIS office and they said USCIS mailed me a letter on December 13th, 2010 stating that it would be another 45 days before we had any answers. When I called the Senator's office and explained what USCIS had said, I asked them what else could be done and the Senator's office said there was nothing else to be done and I had to wait.

Is this true??? Is there nothing else we can do??

My husband and I are in pain we miss each other and want to be with each other.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

USCIS was correct. There is no legal recourse you can do

USCIS state they try to process your case in 5 months

but until 180 from your NOA-1 you just have too wait.

Sure you can call but there is nothing you can really

do until until 6 months or 180 dyas from NOA-1.

Please read the threaths there is a back up and your just

going to have to wait until they catch up doing other

AOS that need to be done.'

Have nice Holiday and have some PATIENTS ALSO.

180 days is what they said you must do wait until

than, some are earlier some go past 180 when its your

turn they will adivse you of your approval ASAP.

Good Luck

Not to give tiy bad news but we have been waiting over 5 months on our AOS, I called to expedite our case which was approved and they gave us the 45 day additional wait to. And it's almost been 45 days!
