I HAVE FOUND SOMETHING NEW TODAY FOR ALL FB CATEGORY! THIS INFO REALY HELP FOR YOU WHILE YOUR CASE HAS BEEN PROCESS AT NVC WITH BIG DISSAPOINT RETROGRESS.

SIF: IF YOU ALREADY GOT SIF AND FOLLOWED BY CC, NVC WILL SCHEDULE VISA APPOINTMENT FOR THEM WITH SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. LIKE 1-3 MONTHS.

CC: IF YOU ONLY GOT CC WITHOUT SIF, I MEAN YOU CAN STILL SIGN INTO PAYMENT CENTER. IT IS GOING TO DELAY YOUR SCHEDULE. LIKE 3-6 MOMTHS.

NOTE: SOMETIMES IT DEPENDS ON USEM OVERSEAS CAPACITY LIMIT. FOR BUSIEST EMBASSY LIKE MANILA, DHAKA, ISLAMABAD, INDIA IS BEHIND 2-3 MONTHS FOR ALL FB CATEGORY.

My Case has completed on same day as urs - 14th Dec. NVC operator told that , may be I will get January Date, if not January then definitely February. My PD: Aug 2007

But I am afraid after reading your post, My CC on 14th Dec as per AVR and NVC operator, But no SIF... (

I believe your PD is current next month too. You can get interview anyways. FB means all Family base immigrant category( F1, F2A, F2B,F3, F4). My anxiouse I am not current on next month, what if NVC wont issue my interview according January Visa Bulletin. So i was gonna giving out all information to FB category how NVC has process FB category case.

ALL FAMILY BASE CATEGORY VISA CASE WILL GET FIRST CC, THEY WONT GET SIF UNTIL INTERVIEW GET SCHEDULED. ALSO IT IS TRUE THAT VISA NUMBER WILL ATTACH TO THE CASE WHEN INTERVIEW GET SCHEDULE. AS I MENTION THAT MY PREVIOUSE POST, LIKE SOME OF EMBASSY COULD BE BEHIND OF VISA APPROVAL ACCORDING TO THEIR MONTHLY VISA QOATA.

I called NVC, till last night they haven't schedule my interview. So, my packet wont send to embassy until interview been set.

where did you find out this kind of information about SIF CC and CC without SIF? my case was completed on 11-10-2010 and still waiting for interview. SIF was 11-21-2010. PD March 2010. I guess government just collected all money from permanent residents to bail out some banks etc. and put priority dates back to jan 2008.
