Hello all,

I just received text/email stating my EAD is approved.

I just wanted to know did anyone get this? because I was reading timelines and they all had their card production and non of them mentioned they got an email that it got approved just went straight to card production?

Just wondering... anyone received a text/email like this too??

How long do I receive the actual card?

4/22/2016 (Day 3) - Received Package

4/25/2016 (Day 6) - $680 Cleared on credit card

4/29/2016 (Day 10) - Biometrics Scheduled

5/10/2016 (Day 20) - Early Biometrics (Walk in) Originally scheduled for 5/18 @ 2pm

8/16/2016 (Day 120) - Scheduled for an interview

The good thing is - you got the EAD approved, that's all that matters. Some people get text about their card being ordered, some get emails and no text, some get both text and email....Give it some time, about 10 business days. You will get your card in the mail - with or without text/email. That's what you care more about, right?

06-06-2017 - Credit card charged; received text and email confirming that application was received and NOA is on its way

06-10-2017 - Received NOA letter from NBC dated 06-05-2017

06-16-2017 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter for 06-28-2017

01-19-2018 - Interview Letter sent

02-27-18 - Interview and Oath Ceremony. Finally US CITIZEN!

I got the same text, don't worry about it. The card should come soon.

The EAD and letter I received was dated 11/19/2010, and was in our mailbox when we returned from Louisiana (where we spent Thanksgiving with Rick's parents and his sister).

Received two e-mails, the first re: card production ordered was dated November 19 (same as the hard copy we received with the EAD card attached to it), and the second e-mail re: Post-Decision Activity, informed us that the EAD was mailed on November 22.

So check the date on the Post-Decision Activity text...chances are, if it says they mailed the EAD, you should receive it within 2 to 3 business days.

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

Day 00: 19 Sep 2010 AOS package (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765) sent to Chicago Lockbox

Day 18: 07 Oct 2010 Biometrics appointment letter received for 29 Oct 2010 (dated 01 Oct 2010)

Day 19: 08 Oct 2010 Walk-in biometrics (took about 10 minutes)

Day 47: 05 Nov 2010 Received letter (dated 01 Nov 2010) for Interview on 07 Dec 2010

Day 68: 26 Nov 2010 I-131 TOUCHED: AP approved

Day 73: 01 Dec 2010 I-765 TOUCHED: EAD approved

Day 76: 04 Dec 2010 AP received
