how long after the interview should we (the spouse of green card holder, and the under 18 child of green card holder) get the immigration visa to be able to go to the US. our interview is scheduled for December 22nd, our case is done with the medical examinations and everything. We are egyptians and currently in egypt while my father, the green card holder, is in america. I am asking because we want to go before January 3rd because that is when the school semester starts and I dont want to miss it. so itll be very great if someone can help, and advise will be helpful too :)

also, is there anyway to speed up the time for the immigration visa to come, thank you :)
