how you met, what the USC does for work, have you met their family, what is their family like, do you like (state the USC lives here), do you plan to work when you move to the USA, do you plan to have a family. They really just ask you anything you would already/should already know about each other!

The questions he asked me were the same kinds of questions friends and family ask me! How did you meet, do you like going to visit his family, what your wedding plans, have you thought about a honeymoon, where would you like to work when you get to the states. It was so comfortable, it just felt like we were casually chatting while he was getting his paperwork ready to start the "real interview". But that was the real interview and the next thing I knew he said based on the information you have given me I can say you are approved! He was so nice and just made some jokes about the pictures we had included with our package! It was the best part of the process!

I was asked questions about how we met, what my fiance does for work, if I met his family/friends. What my his brother does for work. Where my fiance went to college, and for the life of me I couldn't remember that one. Asked if we planned on having kids. My older 2 kids had to come also and where asked if the liked the idea of moving and wanted to move. Asked me when I got married and the divorce dates from my previous marriage. When we planned to get married. I think that was about it.

They just asked us how we met. They really didn't ask much. Then they told us we were approved. It was fun and painless. Enjoy your interview!

Will they ask information that has already been provided to them on the applications and such?

They asked me when was the last time he was up visiting, and when was the last time I had gone for a visit (info already provided in the forms)... They might want to ask questions even though they have the info to see what your answer will be.

I was asked, how did we met, when was our first visit, how many trips have I made as well as how many did he make,when was my last trip, what he did for a living (i had to explain his job in detail), a question about my sons Biological dude (the "sperm donor" haha). A few questions about my past criminal record and that was it.

We were asked when we met, was my husband still employed with the same company, was I currently working, had I ever lived outside of Canada, were any of my children accompanying me and had I ever had any issues crossing the border. That was it. Our interviewer spent more time checking through the paperwork than talking to us. Very simple.

As for the questions.. Where you met, how long have you known eachother, what does he do for a living, what does co-sponsor do for a living. Basically all the same questions that annoying stranger next to you on a plane would ask on a 6 hour flight...

My hubby was asked: when were you discharged from the Navy, how did you meet, what date did you first meet in person, what do you do for a living, what was the longest visit you made to the US. That was about it - easy.
