Looking at your question objectively, there are two distinct possibilities here, 1, Fox news deliberately misinforms or 2, Fox viewers are just not very bright to start with. I was leaning toward #1 but you might convince me #2 is operative as well.

We can alternately surmise that since a significant portion of NPR/PBS listeners/viewers are misinformed on issues that it must be a government plot since a signifigant portion of their budget is taxpayer financed. :wacko:

Your tax $$$ at work. A good reason to defund that Left leaning purveyer of biased misinformation. ;)

Right. The study wasn't trying to prove that watching fox news somehow makes you misinformed, but it did discover incidentally that those who watch fox news ARE the most misinformed. You are free to draw your own conclusions why that is.

Coming from someone that uses Keith Olbermann, Rachael Maddow, and Democracy Now! to reinforce their views, we can draw our own conclusions from your commentary. ;)

:lol: I have no idea who any of those people are, nor am I a Democrat. Needless to say, even where I to reinforce by biases in the way you suggest, that wouldn't change the stats, which are, Fox network viewers are considerably less well informed than everyone else.

the study is a liberal "gotcha" study that tries to play itself off though as well...

Look at this one example::

*Most scientists do not agree that climate change is occurring (30 points)

Now when you're asking political questions, the assumption is you're asking the political version of that question. I guarantee you most who answered believe that climate change occurs and know scientists know about climate change. What they are referring to though is "man-made" climate change...

These polls are a bit dishonest in how they work and I'm sure they are dishonest in the way they ask the questions on other networks as well....

No...just the small sample in the study. If this one study is all the ammo you got...I'd say you are shooting blanks. And Democracy Now! has nothing to do with the Democratic party, but I'm sure a lot of Dems tune in.

I don't 'have' anything. I am not making more of this than there is. A study found that amongst the sample group they studied those who watched fox were the most uninformed. I am not sure what you think that means, but to me that means that a study found that amongst the sample group they studied those who watched fox were the most uninformed.

I have no idea what Democracy Now! is, nor do I care.

I doubt it, if you think I would like it it is no doubt turgid stuff.

Turgid or not...it's right up your alley (i.e.: American slang meaning that it is a match made in Cleo heaven). ;)

Which is why I have zero interest in it, who knew that I know myself better than you do ;)
