Guys,

Can we get some help on this. We sent email to NVC on Dec 2nd asking to see if our interview can be expediated. We have already paid AOS and Packet IV invoice and it has been processed and credited. We got an email from NVC on Dec 14th saying that "______PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE" is needed, but we had already sent this form to NVC. Then on Dec 17th we got another e-mail saying -

"The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case as an

expedite. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S.

Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions regarding processing

or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S.

Embassy/Consulate General."

Then when i called NVC automated service it says that as of Dec 14th, NVC is waiting for document from us.

What does all this mean? Is the automated system correct or the e-mail we received on Dec 17th correct.

Is there any other way to find out our status.

Please help.

Thanks

If your file was expedited to your foreign consulate then you should send an email to them asking if they have received your package. If they have not then probably not much you can do at the current time until they do receive it. You may also want to have a copy of the document they stated was missing ready to send...documents to come up missing unfortunately. Good luck and congrats on the expedite.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
