Pienso que si, con el mismo pasaporte es suficiente, es lo que yo opino.

Thanks for your opinion Wayne and Claudia, but there seems to be a tiny posibility in which the beneficiary (Colombian wife) could be requested the MML of the Petitinoner (US citizen). I already have mine but I don't have the one of my husband. and it doesn't say in the package intructions that you have to get it for your hsuband either, just for the wife (Colombian).

Our statement wasn't an opinion but good luck with you

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Hi everyone, unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones. I'm a u.s.citizen and they requested a MML from DAS for me. My fiance had her first interview in june and the lady was very rude to her and we were required to obtain one additional thing plus they asked for my MML. So we made arrangements and did what we were suppose to and rescheduled the interview for July 14th. Except we have one problem. The DAS requested that I provide a signed form giving permission to my fiance to receive this document for me. I also had it notarized and sent it fed ex. When she went to DAS they wouldn't except the permission

And told her that it needed some stamp from the consulate in the u.s? So the only way to obtain this document is for me to fly to Bogota and request this document myself. Which is not possible because of work and for financial reasons. So my fiance will return to her DAS monday and hopefully get another worker who will accept my notarized permission and that she will receive this document in time for the interview Thursday. I can't say how stressed we are about this especially with the problems we had the first interview. I emailed the embassy and explained to them. I'm hoping that they can offer some useful help but I doubt it. Also the embassy worker told me before once the request the document it is required so... Damn Bureaucrats..
