Hi All,

Quick question, how do I know when they reviewed the AOS if everything is ok? Do they send me a notice? or is there a website to check the status, as the payment online website it only shows when something was paid or in processing. Also I am being told that since its the end of the month that JA will probably not issue the Police Certificates after Christmas, and it makes more sense to wait till after the holidays to go get it done... does anyone know how long the Police Certificates are good for in JA, and if we are able to just get two copies one for the D230 and a second one for the interview?

I was hoping to get everything resolved before the end of the month so that maybe I might be able to get an interview for February.. but can anyone advise if their case is complete with in a month's period would they be likely to get an interview for the following month.

And finally anyone recently been approved can you advise how long it took for you to receive your passport back? is it within 5 days if you are picking up your passport from a PO box, can you meet DHL there and sign for it?

correct as the prev. person stsated - call them as ask if they have been received in the mail room. As for the " Police Certificates after Christmas " i have no knowledage of that.. why would business stop except for those days that are observed...? It doesnt make more sent but is not a good pratice.

The police clearance are valid for 6 months and you do get TWO for the cost.. the expiration date will not be noted on the form just the date it was issued.
