Hello everyone,

I have a question to ask. My fiance has an opportunity to change his job, but we already sent in the I 129F package with information about his old job. We got our NOA 1 and now we are waiting. We were wondering on how this may influence the whole case? Do we need to report the switch of jobs to USCIS? And if so, how do we do it and how it may affect our case? Will it make it slower?

Thank you for all your help

Changing jobs won't affect the case. NO, you do not have to notify USCIS. In the future, simply list his current job as is

Good luck

Hello,

I am not sure will it delay your process or not.But you can check by following link:http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

You don't have to report it now, but when you get to the Embassy part of your application, in the affidavit of support, it will reflect his new company (if he decides to switch jobs). As long as he will still meet the poverty guidelines, it should be ok.
