Who plus 2ed this rant? Hell your rant is WRONG. As the TPS's were given to ILLEGAL HATIANS already here. Look it up, it was published in the NY Times and many other news organizations.

Last time I checked illegals DONT pay taxes.

While I understand the thrust of your argument, you are wrong on the detail about undocumented workers not paying taxes. Everything they buy has the same sales tax as everyone else pays. There are taxes paid with utilities, property taxes factored into their rent payments, even social security taxes for many of them who, because of using fake SS numbers, will never recover any of it. Yes, (gasp!), they may be paying in to prop up the system for the rest of us! I still don't like being pushed aside when I want to bring my fiancee here, but I am thankful I don't face the problems that the Haitians are dealing with!

one thing i dont get tho, what joydee's request to expedite has got to do with anything unless youre doubting her/his love for her/his fiance/ee?

we all know being away from eachother is hard and painful and if we all could expedite,we would.

im not trying to take sides here but we have to be fair

If I could I would of course request expidite, and than shutup. I would not go on the forums and tell everyone how they must wait and preach about her right to expidite? I may have missed her point, but it just smells bad. Poor taste.

My complaint is towards the USCIS, how could the standards be set so low? 5 months for an approval are completly way to low standards in my book, no excuses. I say raise the standards. Max two months for K-1, and you'll see how quick theyd be hiring outside contractors once their butts are on the line for not meeting the status quo during their next inspection.

honestly i hope she dont go to the embassy for the interview cause she might flip on the interviewer and get her fiance denied, the woman is on a constant period, cant get along with anyone, and to be honest, even tho i dont FEEL she deserved an expedite,i dont think its my call either.

they are not giving their workers a raise, that means they must be in a financial pickle, however that isnt an excuse.i think the management is the problem.in no way shape or form is it alright to remove all workers from one type of visa to get the other type going, its wrong and its unfair.and they know it.

some other member started a petition to improve immigration system,i think its hopeless and wont get anywhere, but i signed it.

i hope someone write directly to obama on behalf of at least members of this site,it might get us somewhere

Don't hold your breath. The man has been more concerned about illegals (DREAM Act) than the citizens at the moment.

i know, its what pisses me off the most, its like if you do things illegally youll get more attention than you would if you did them legally.i know its negative, but shouldnt the ones who do things the right way come first?

Damn right! I 100% agree. Seems you get rewarded more for breaking the law than following it. If amnesty is given, why the ^#*@ did everyone here and thousands of others have to pay thousands of dollars just to be with our loved ones?

USCIS should focus on the U.S. Citizen first than other cases, period. Same with Congress and the President.

i dont think they should necessarily focus on us citizens first, but they should be equal.

im upset that more than any other system in this government, immigration system is filled with injustice, and no one seems to care
