Filed I-129f but....I'M thinking about I-130

Ok so I'm thinking about marrying my fiance and filing for I-130, Can I do this? and what does it entail since I have filed for I-129f already? Is it worth it? Or will I be wasting time? HELP!!!

If you're thinking CR1 instead of K1, not sure you'd be saving any time that way, especially since you've already filed.

You can go ahead and get married and file the I-130 BUT you would have wasted about 2 months time (if you did this right now, probably more wasted time though) AND the filing fee for the I-129 F petition. Yes, you can do it, but why? I do not see any advantage in doing this, but yes, you are free to do it. You would have to notify USCIS of your cancellation of the I-129 F petition though. Some people think that being married is more proof of a relationship than being a fiance. Actually it ups the amount of evidence needed because you have to show you are co mingling like married people do not just planning on getting married like a fiance would.

I mean for us we do live together when I'm over there, he lives in my house year round so the evidence thing isnt a problem. I send him money and send shipments of food.
