Can I POE in Edmonton, but not have a flight?

My employment contract is up and is renewable for 6 months. We have filed DCF and are waiting out the process. If I sign my contract and leave then I will have to pay back my bonus. As soon as we get my interview, I get 6 months to cross. But instead of crossing, can I go to the Edmonton International Airport and do my POE without leaving Canada? Or is there another way to do it without leaving Canada? And do I have to pay anything more if we have not been married 2 years when I do a POE?

Your employment contract will be for 6 months starting soon. You are doing DCF, but aren't finished yet; once you have your interview and are approved, you have 6 months to cross/immigrate. Why not just wait to immigrate until your contract is up? Keep in mind Montreal is very slow at scheduling interviews, so if you are only just starting the process, it could take 4 months or more to get an interview...

You don't have to pay anything at POE for being married less than 2 years, but you would have to remove conditions 2 years after getting your conditional greencard, and there are fees for that.
