We would like to send money to family in Bangladesh to make a house for us there. Does anyone have experience moving a large sum of money to an overseas account and the tax implications of it? We want to make sure that everything is done correctly and reported as necessary.

We appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

We stopped in at the IRS Office since it was in the same building we were at for our biometrics, so they answered our question. If you are interested in the answer, send me a PM and I will give you the details. :)
