When Do District Offices do Updates?

When do the district offices do the updates on the uscis site. Cleveland hasn't been updated since July 17/06 ! Here I go again with my OCD ! LOL Checking twice a day and I just started AOS. LOL

i thought it was once a month, but local offices have not updated in well over a month (they all update at the same time). i dunno what's up with that. maybe one or two of them have not submitted their info yet and are holding up the people entering the data on the USCIS site. the service centers updated on august 3rd. hopefully when they do update, they will be pretty far ahead and not still stuck on the same old cases.

no worries about ocd... most of us are guilty of checking our online status constantly.

I think it is when ever they want and stop looking at it everyday or you will go crazy!

i check the processing dates only when i think its about time for an update. other than that, i am more interested in my online case status, which i check every day.

Buttons - just try to limit yourself. USCIS is due to update sooner or later... and since you are just starting out, there is no point in checking the dates right now. maybe once a month. don't get overly anxious... the dates may update and you could find that they are even further behind than before. it happens. just take it easy and hopefully everything will go smoothly for you!

Those dates are basically meaningless anyway, for example my DO says its processing cases from August 2005, but I already have my interview date.

Don't worry about it - processing will happen when it happens. I think I-485 processing times have more to do with how fast NBC pre-processes them these days, but they don't give any dates for I-485 processing on the NBC page.

I know , I'm just trying to make light of the situation. Also I find that the dates for the AOS and the EAD are so close -- I think it was a pointless waste of Money to do the EAD.

Not for me, my interview is 11 days after my Visa runs out, but luckily 16 days after I can get iEAD. If I don't get (i)EAD I'll lose my job. $180 well spent for me!
